  35. FWIW, I tried it with C-Kermit 7.0.196 on two systems:
  36. FreeBSD 3.3 with tcsh, and
  37. HPUX 10.20 with ksh
  38.  
  39. Both worked as expected (i.e. line three appeared in the output).
